It stands to describe a card appearing on the turn or the river that has no or very little connectivity with the rest of the cards and is unlikely to help any players involved in the hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say the <a href=\"http:\/\/pokercoaching.com\/blog\/poker-terms\/flop\/\" title=\"Flop Definition \u2013 Learn What A Flop Is In Poker\">flop<\/a> is 6s7hTs, and then the 2d comes on the <a href=\"http:\/\/pokercoaching.com\/blog\/poker-terms\/turn\/\" title=\"Turn Definition \u2013 Learn What A Turn Is In Poker\">turn<\/a>. This 2d is pretty much a definition of brick in <a href=\"http:\/\/pokercoaching.com\/blog\/how-to-play-poker\/texas-holdem-rules\/\" title=\"How To Play Texas Hold\u2019em \u2013 Poker Rules &amp; Basics\">Texas Hold&#8217;em<\/a>, as it doesn\u2019t change the board in any way and is highly unlikely to improve any of the players in the pot. All of the combinations they can have now were possible before as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like many other things in poker, a brick is a relative term.
