Fast Fold Poker Definition – Learn What Is Fast Fold Poker

Fast Fold Poker is an online poker variation where players can fold their hands without having to wait for their turn, and they’re immediately dealt into a new hand.

For example, you’re dealt 7-2 on the button, and you know you won’t be playing the hand. You can immediately click fold, and you’ll be moved to the next table with a fresh set of opponents. Your opponents on the first table, however, will not know you folded until it is your turn to act.

For obvious reasons, fast-fold poker is possible only in an online environment. It allows players to play many more hands per hour, but conversely, it leads to much tighter play on average, as players don’t have to play marginal hands out of sheer boredom and can instead move on to the next one.
