Best Online Poker Sites in Nevada

Online poker has been available in Nevada for well over a decade, as Nevada was one of the first US states to pass the iGaming bill. Despite this fact, WSOP.com is the only licensed poker site operating in the Silver State.

When it comes to sweepstakes poker, Nevada has also put a stop to it. Global Poker left the market and other sites are staying out of the state as legislators made it very clear that they don’t agree with the sweepstakes model.

This leaves players with very limited options. Since most offshore sites still operating in Nevada are shady and risky, we can recommend only WSOP Online and CoinPoker at this point.

Top Regulated Nevada Poker Sites

WSOP NV is the state’s only online licensed and regulated poker site. While a couple of other platforms have existed for a while, WSOP is the only one that has stood the test of time.

WSOP Nevada

Even though WSOP.com is the only option for players in Nevada, the site has a lot to offer across the board.

Most importantly, WSOP NV shares its player pool with the other three states in the MSIGA (NJ, MI, and DE), and WSOP PA will likely join the mix as soon as Pennsylvania signs the agreement.

Thanks to this, the site has very decent player traffic and offers quality tournaments with big guarantees. Of course, WSOP bracelets and rings are also up for grabs.

WSOP NV also features solid bonuses and promotions for new and existing players. Even though it has no competition in the state, the site offers a lot of extra value.

Sweepstakes Poker in Nevada

For a long time, Nevada poker players were allowed to play on sweepstakes poker sites, which gave them some options in addition to state-regulated sites. However, this changed in 2024, when Nevada regulators decided to pursue sweeps operators and force them to shut down their operations.

Global Poker, one of the leaders in this category, left the state early in 2025. Clubs Poker, one of the biggest up-and-comers in this space, doesn’t accept NV players, either.

It remains to be seen what will happen once ClubWPT Gold fully launches, but it is safe to assume they will also avoid The Silver State to avoid potential legal issues, just like Stake US and others.

As things stand right now, no safe sweepstakes poker sites are operating in Nevada, so your only legal option to play online poker in the state is WSOP.com.

What Games You Can Find In Nevada

Although Nevada has just one legal poker site, players are not strapped for options. There is a fair bit of cash game action running around the clock, a solid MTT schedule, and even generous jackpot sit-and-gos.

As mentioned, WSOP NV shares its player pool with MI and NJ platforms, which helps create solid player traffic around the clock. There are around 150 – 160 active players on average, which is enough to sustain a healthy amount of action on the site.

Numbers usually spike during major tournament series, especially during online bracelet series that takes place twice a year, in summer and in fall.

While some competition would be good for the players, WSOP NV does a pretty good job offering a comprehensive selection of games for all player types and across all stakes, from micros to nosebleeds.

Tournaments

WSOP NV’s main focus is tournaments, so MTT players have plenty of options. The regular schedule includes dozens of daily events, with buy-ins ranging from $1 to several hundred.

The operator offers a very solid lineup of Weekly specials, with at least one tournament every day. Buy-ins range from $100 to $500, and guarantees are usually in the mid-five figures, reaching $100,000 for monthly special events.

The site also hosts various satellites and special events through which players can qualify for live WSOP events, including the $10,000 Main Event.

When it comes to tournament series, WSOP NV certainly has a lot to offer all year round:

  • WSOP Online Bracelets – once in summer during the Las Vegas series & once in fall, with a combined 60+ events
  • WSOP Online Circuit – several times a year, with around 20 events on each schedule
  • WSOP Online Championships (February – March)

Cash games

When it comes to cash games, the variety may not be as good as what tournament players get, but there is a lot of action to be had.

As mentioned, WSOP NV averages around 160 active players, which is enough to keep the games going. This number spikes significantly during big online series, though, so even if you’re not into tournaments, these are the best times to be online, as cash game traffic improves significantly during these periods.

There is a good spread of stakes, with games starting at just $0.01/$0.02 and going all the way up to $100/$200. Naturally, most traffic is found at low to mid-stakes tables.

WSOP NV spreads Texas Hold’em, Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo across all stakes, but there are no other variations available on the site at this time.

Spin and Goes

Nevada poker players can try their luck at WSOP NV’s Spin and Go-style tournaments. These games are called Blast, and they feature familiar dynamics with three players and a random jackpot for the winner, determined at the start of every tournament.

Buy-ins start at $0.30 and go up to $100, so there is an excellent range of stakes to accommodate players with different bankrolls. The maximum win multiplier is 10,000x, which is near the top of the range for regulated US poker sites.

Nevada Payment Methods

Like in other regulated states, poker players in Nevada can use various payment methods for deposits and withdrawals.

All accepted options are safe and trustworthy, as this is one of the main legal requirements for NV poker operators. So, you can be sure that your money is perfectly safe and that all transactions are conducted using the latest safety protocols to protect your personal and banking info.

Poker Regulations in Nevada

The Nevada Gaming Control Board, the state body in charge of gambling, regulates online poker in Nevada. It issues licenses for poker sites and ensures that licensed operators conduct their business in accordance with all relevant laws.

At this moment in time, WSOP NV is the only properly regulated site where players can legally play online poker. Offshore sites that accept Nevada players do exist, but they operate contrary to the laws and should be avoided at all costs.

As mentioned earlier, sweepstakes poker sites have also been removed for the time being.

Nevada is a member of the Multi-State Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), which means that players from the state can play together with those in New Jersey, Michigan, and Delaware (once DE online poker returns).

For a player to be able to play real money games on WSOP NV (or any future NV online poker sites), they have to be physically present within the state borders, as this is a requirement that all state-licensed operators across the US have to adhere to.
