A donk bet in poker is a post-flop bet made out of position by the player who has just called preflop.
For example, let’s say that the BTN raised before the flop and you called from the BB. If you decide to lead to the raiser after seeing the first three community cards, that would be considered a donk bet since you are out of position and betting into the preflop aggressor.
