In Texas Hold’em and other community card games, the term postflop relates to all the action that takes place after the flop is dealt.
All the betting that takes place before community cards are dealt is known as preflop. Everything that happens from flop onwards, including the flop action, is postflop.
There are three stages of postflop action spread across three streets: flop, turn, and river.
In terms of strategy, both preflop and posflop are important, and a good player needs to be familiar with strategies for both.
