No, Nebraska doesn’t license any online poker sites. Sweepstakes poker rooms such as ClubWPT Gold and Stake.us accept Nebraska players, and so does the offshore site CoinPoker, but none of them is licensed by the state. The November 3, 2026 ballot asks voters about online sports betting only, not poker.

Where Nebraska Players Can Play Online Today
Nebraska only allows casinos at its horse racetracks, and online gambling still isn’t licensed. Sweepstakes poker sits outside all of that.
Three rooms on our list accept sign-ups from Nebraska right now. We last checked in October 2026.
CoinPoker is an offshore poker site. It runs cash games and tournaments around the clock, and you can deposit by card or crypto.
ClubWPT Gold is the World Poker Tour’s sweepstakes poker site. Of the rooms here, it’s the one built purely around poker, under a name most players already know.
Stake.us is a sweepstakes casino with a poker room. Most players know it for casino games, but the poker tables run on the usual two-currency sweepstakes model.
The current offers and codes are in the boxes above.
CoinPoker is an offshore site. It isn’t licensed by Nebraska or any other US state, so no Nebraska agency can help you if you have a dispute. Only deposit what you’re comfortable having on a site without state oversight.

How Sweepstakes Poker Works
Sweepstakes poker sites operate in most states because you never have to buy anything to play. They use two kinds of coins.
- Gold Coins are for fun only. You can buy more, but you can’t cash them out.
- Sweeps Coins come free, as a bonus with coin packages or by a free entry method such as a mail-in request. Once you’ve played them through, you can redeem them for prizes under the site’s rules.
That no-purchase-necessary setup is how these sites argue they fall under sweepstakes law rather than gambling law. The Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission oversees the racetrack casinos and has no authority over online sweepstakes sites.
ClubWPT Gold works differently. It moved away from the two-coin setup in 2025 and now uses a single currency called Chips, tied to a poker training membership.

What Changed for Online Poker in Nebraska
The big news in Nebraska this year is about sports betting, not poker.
- August 2026. Two online sports betting initiatives were certified on August 21 for the November 3, 2026 ballot. One, Initiative Measure 440, amends the constitution. The other sets the rules. They’d let the racetrack casinos offer online sports betting with up to two online partners each. Online poker and casino games aren’t included. Source, SBC Americas, August 24, 2026
We couldn’t find any 2026 bill on online poker, online casino games or sweepstakes sites.
If voters say yes, the online sportsbooks still won’t arrive overnight. The regulation initiative gives the commission until June 1, 2027 to write the rules.
A yes vote wouldn’t change anything for sweepstakes poker or offshore rooms. They’d stay exactly where they are.
Can I Play PokerStars, WSOP or GGPoker in Nebraska?
No. PokerStars, WSOP Online and BetMGM Poker only run in states that license online poker, and Nebraska isn’t one of them. GGPoker doesn’t accept US players at all.
You can play on those licensed sites while you’re physically inside a state that has them. Michigan is the closest. See our Michigan poker guide.
Live Poker in Nebraska
Casino gambling is legal in Nebraska, but as far as we can tell, none of the casinos runs a live poker room. The racetrack casinos, such as WarHorse in Omaha and Lincoln, focus on slots and table games.
Omaha players have it easy. Council Bluffs, Iowa, is just across the Missouri River, and its casinos spread live poker. See our Iowa poker guide.
The minimum age is 21 at the racetrack casinos and 18 at tribal casinos.
Will Nebraska Legalize Online Poker?
Not with this vote. The November 3 measures cover online sports betting only.
If they pass, Nebraska will have built the licensing setup for online betting through its racetrack casinos, and online casino games could be the next fight. That would take a new law or another ballot measure, and nobody has proposed one yet.
We’ll update this page with the result after November 3.
