Until today, a PeakGTO session ended the moment you closed the tab. You played the hands, you saw the EV loss, and tomorrow you started from a blank screen again.
That is fixed. Progress Tracking is live, and every hand you play now builds your Rank through XP, levels, missions, badges, and cosmetics. Your training compounds instead of disappearing into yesterday’s session. Check it out yourself.
Here is what changed and why we built it this way.
Start with the new dashboard
Your home screen is no longer a menu of trainers. It’s built around what you should work on today.
It shows your daily missions, your current streak, trainer stats, your top leaks, and a clear next step. Play a few hands and watch it fill in.
The point is to remove the decision about where to start. Open PeakGTO, do what the dashboard tells you, and the rest takes care of itself.
Watch your Rank grow
There’s a new Rank page that pulls all of your progress into one place, plus a stats bar in the header that follows you around the app with your level, title, XP, ELO, and streak.
Rank is earned by playing, not by watching. Every hand you take in the trainer adds XP, and XP moves you up through levels and titles. It’s a simple loop, but it means the work you put in today is still visible next week.
Fix your leaks with the Mistake Bank
This is the feature we care about most.
Every hand you get wrong is saved automatically. PeakGTO then brings the exact spot back on a spaced schedule, so you replay it days later without the solution fresh in your memory. Keep getting it right, and it drops out of rotation. Miss it again, and it comes back later.
That’s how leaks actually get plugged. Not by seeing the right answer once, but by facing the same spot again after you’ve had time to forget it, until the correct play is the one you reach for without thinking.
A Leak Destroyer badge awaits players who clear their bank. It’s one of the harder ones to earn.
Challenge a friend to a Duel
Duels let you play the same spot head-to-head against another Peak user. Challenge a friend directly or send a shareable link to anyone with a Peak account.
You both face identical decisions, and the player with the lowest EV loss wins. It’s a clean way to settle who has the better fundamentals, and a good excuse to get a friend training.
Play and Explain, formerly DoD
Deal of the Day has a new name. Play and Explain gives you the same daily featured spots with a coach walking through the hand, but it’s now tied into your daily loop, so completing it counts toward your missions and streak.
Same idea, better fit with everything else on the dashboard.
Missions, badges, and rewards
Alongside Rank, you’ll find Pathways to work through, daily and weekly missions, tiered achievements, and a growing set of badges. Complete them, and you unlock titles, frames, and card backs you can equip in the trainer.
Friends and public profiles are live too. If you’ve put in the work, you can now show it.
Everyone starts at zero
One thing to expect. Every member starts Rank and XP from zero today, no matter how long you’ve been training. That’s by design, since the system only counts hands played from launch onward.
Your trainer history and your leaks are all still there. Nothing you’ve done before is lost, but from here onwards every session counts toward something.
What to do right now
Log in, play a few hands, and start the streak. The dashboard will tell you what to train next, the Mistake Bank will start collecting the spots you miss, and your Rank will begin moving.
The players who improve fastest are the ones who show up daily and let the system do the rest. That’s much easier now.
